Communalism, Familism, and Filial Piety: Are They Birds of a Collectivist Feather?

Although the constructs and measures were based on cultural beliefs and values from different ethnic groups, communalism, familism, and filial piety share a number of conceptual and empirical commonalities…—and all of them appear relevant to all four major ethnic groups included in our samples.
